CBSE Asks Schools to Upload Internal Marks Till February 14, Check Notice

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released a circular about the upload of internal grades for 2024-25 examination. Schools will be able to now upload the internal marks for Class 12 on the portal. As per the notice, the portal will be available till February 14, 2025. The Board examination for Class 10th and 12th from February 15, 2025.

As per the official notice, “The Board Examinations 2024-25 related activities are in full swing with most schools conducting the Practical/Project/Internal Assessment and uploading of marks for the same. In continuation of the same, the portal for uploading of Internal Grades will remain active we.f. 15th January, 2025 to 14th February, 2025 for Uploading the Internal Grades of Class XII candidates.”

Schools are further advised to cross verify the data before uploading and also to make sure that the exact internal grades are uploaded. It is the responsibility of the school to upload the right grades as no correction will be allowed after the portal is inactive.

CBSE Board Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially opened the portal for schools to upload CBSE Class 12 internal marks for the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2025. It must be noted that CBSE 12th Practical Exam 2025 Marks Upload portal will be available until February 14, 2025.

As per the recent announcement, CBSE schools have already started conducting CBSE Class 12 practical exams  2025, beginning on January 1, 2025. In line with the examination process, schools are to upload marks for practical exams, projects, and internal assessments (IA) as per the prescribed schedule. The portal for uploading internal grades will be open from January 15 to February 14, 2025.

The CBSE Board Exam 2025 for Class 10 and Class 12 will commence on February 15, 2025, with the CBSE Class 10 Exam 2025 concluding on March 18, 2025, and CBSE Class 12 exams 2025 wrapping up on April 4, 2025.

Strict Guidelines for Data Verification

In the circular issued by CBSE, the board emphasized the importance of verifying the data before uploading. Schools are instructed to ensure the accuracy of the internal grades uploaded on the portal as there will be no facility to edit the CBSE Class 12 Practical Marks once submitted.

The schools must ensure that the marks awarded and uploaded are correct, as no corrections will be allowed post-upload,” the circular stated.

Further, the board reiterated its earlier guidelines regarding the uploading of practical exam marks, where it was instructed that schools must upload the marks on the same day as the assessment is conducted. This ensures timely submission of marks and maintains the accuracy of the data.

Additionally, the circular underlined that the Internal Examiner and External Examiner are jointly responsible for uploading the correct marks. Schools were also reminded to confirm the maximum marks for practical exams and IA before awarding marks.

The opening of the portal marks a significant step in the administration of the CBSE Board Exams 2025. Schools must adhere strictly to the guidelines to ensure smooth and error-free processing of students’ marks.
