Ajay Devgn, who is gearing up for his tentpole Diwali release Singham Again next week, took time out of promotions to attend wife Kajol’s Do Patti premiere.

Exactly a week before Ajay Devgn roars at the box office with Singham Again, his wife Kajol will be seen as a cop for the first time. Ajay accompanied Kajol as they attended the premiere of her new film, Do Patti, in Mumbai on Thursday evening.

A paparazzo shared a video on Instagram in which Ajay and Kajol can be seen arriving at the premiere of Do Patti and posing on the red carpet together. They twin in black as Ajay dons a black T-shirt tugged into a black jeans, and pairs them with brown sunglasses and shoes. Meanwhile, Kajol was in her effervescent self in a polka dot top. She completed her look with green floral earrings.

Starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon, the thriller film Do Patti will be released on Netflix on Friday. On the eve of the film’s release, a special premiere was organised in Mumbai, with several stars in attendance. While Kriti was seen with her family by her side, Kajol twinned with her actor husband Ajay Devgn, who is gearing up for the release of Singham Again.

Kajol is playing a cop’s role in Do Patti. And during her recent appearance on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, Kajol joked how she coached Ajay Devgn for Singham. Kajol and Ajay Devgn were seen all smiles as they posed together for the photogs.

Kriti was dressed in a black crop top and high-waisted pleated maxi skirt. Kriti’s parents, Geeta and Rahul Sanon, were also in attendance. Kriti is seen in dual role in the film. Do Patti also marks her first production venture.

Do Patti also stars Shaheer Sheikh. The actor’s BFF Hina Khan arrived at the event to show her support to Shaheer. Hina is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She was seen with a big smile on her face at the special screening, and while leaving the venue, she also asked the photographers to pray for her speedy recovery.

Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Sunny Kaushal and writer Kanika Dhillon were also see at the event.

Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the thriller also features Tanvi Azmi and Brijendra Kala in key roles.
