As Rajat Dalal entered Bigg Boss 18, he addressed his past controversy with Carryminati and revealed his side of the story to host Salman Khan.

Bigg Boss 18′s list of contestants is heavily loaded with actors and influencers. Fitness influencer Rajat Dalal entered the Bigg Boss house where Salman Khan asked how his achievements have been overshadowed by controversies. He addressed his face-off with influencer Carryminati as well as time spent in jail.

In his introduction video, Rajat said, “Everyone on social media is trying to defame me. I am called a bad boy, a villain. People must have seen my controversies, but no one ever tried to know the reason behind those. I was a professional powerlifter. When I wore medals, no one paid attention. But when I was handcuffed, that’s when everyone searched my name.”

ajat, who enjoys 1 million Instagram followers and over 200k on YouTube, introduced himself as someone being considered a “bad boy” and a “villain”. He told Salman, “Everyone on social media is trying to defame me. I am called a bad boy, a villain. People must have seen my controversies, but no one ever tried to know the reason behind those. I was a professional powerlifter. When I wore medals, no one paid attention. But when I was handcuffed, that’s when everyone searched my name.”

The influencer, who hails from Haryana, further mentioned that he wants to use the platform to remove misconceptions about him and his image among his fans. Rajat said the audience has only seen his negative side so far, and he aims to change that with his participation in Bigg Boss 18.

Elaborating on how things didn’t take a favourable turn during the Carryminati incident, he said, “The audience likes to see fights, my positive side was never seen, only the negative side got highlighted. As for controversies, I am at fault, but I never start those controversies. I have only messed up with Carryminati once. I never made any hate comments against him until his roast video where he made fun of me. If you influence a huge audience, you should not defame someone.”

Salman, who is known to have understood contestants’ personalities quite easily, told Rajat that he is an impulsive man, and he would be required to control that behaviour inside the house. The Bollywood superstar advised Rajat: “People have said and written so many negative things about me. I never go behind them. Just let them be.”
